2016 was an eventful year here at Parkway Village! From the first snow in January to our pool parties during the summer and Santa’s visit in December, it was never a dull moment at our community. Here are some of the highlights from 2016!

In mid-January, we were greeted by 2016 with a fresh blanket of snow. For a short while, Parkway Village became a winter wonderland for all of our residents!

In February, we had two contests including our Valentine’s Day and Bingo contests. The winner of the “We Love Our Residents” contest was Jay, and he won a lovely gift basket full of Valentine’s Day goodies. Then we had three winners of the Facebook Bingo contest — Jenny, Susie and Janet.

In March, we had a St. Patrick’s Day contest for 50 lottery tickets and, believe it or not, our resident rightfully named Patrick won the prize!

In April, Spring finally came around and we welcomed some “new residents” to Parkway Village. A flock of geese made our pond their home and they had little goslings. So cute!

In June, residents joined us for our Ice Cream Social at the pool! It was a perfect day to spend the day at the pool and enjoy some delicious ice cream!

At the end of June, we invited our residents to kick off summer with a cookout. Luckily the weather cooperated and we all had a blast!

In July, we had a great time at another pool cook out! Let’s just say, the pool was hopping this summer!

In August, we celebrated Back To School with a contest for our young residents! They had to write or draw what they had fun doing at Parkway Village during the summer. The kids loved being at the pool!

The winner of the Back to School contest was Oakley Moore! He won a new Star Wars backpack full of new school supplies and a lunch box!

At the end of October, we had our annual “Pupalooza” for our 4-legged residents! They had a blast jumping into the pool and cooling off during our “extended” summer in Grove City.

In December, we had a very special visitor come to Parkway Village — Santa Claus! Yes, the big man himself! He took the time out of his very busy Christmas schedule to pose for pictures with our residents and puppies!

We also collected presents under our tree for our Angel Tree Drive for Children! Thank you to all of our residents who donated toys for those less fortunate. Dottie was so happy to be able to make children’s dreams come true on Christmas! 🙂

2016 was such an exciting year for everyone here at Parkway Village and we’re excited for what 2017 has in store for our community! Stay tuned to our Facebook page and blog for more news from Parkway Village!
